This building located in the heart of downtown Charleston just one block from the open air market, most recently housed outdated apartments until Jay Connor and his business partners discovered the vacant building and decided that it is ideal for new, luxury condominiums. The existing building houses three floors and a fourth floor is being added. Six of the condos on the third floor will actually become two story penthouse condos with rooftop decks or balconies. The existing 1940's elevator is being completely refurbished instead of being replaced to preserve the history and charm the structure offers. The renovated foyer and lobby will have secured access and will have upscale finishes including marble flooring, exquisite woodwork and a large bronze and frosted glass chandelier.
